The Second Collection for this weekend is for Respect life. Respect Life in the Diocese of Richmond encompasses a number of issues and initiatives that support the foundational Catholic moral principle that all human life is sacred from conception until natural death.

A Rosary for Life in solidarity with the annual March for Life in DC will be prayed on Friday, January 23, at 11:30 AM in the church before Mass.

National March for Life
The National March for Life on 23 January in Washington, DC is approaching, and while our parish will not be organizing transportation this year, Holy Cross is offering an option for those still interested in attending.
The St. Gianna Ministry at Holy Cross Church plans to use their parish bus to travel to the Vienna, VA Metro station, where participants will take the train into Washington, DC. The bus is provided at no cost. Train tickets are $5 round trip and must be purchased individually.
Final plans will depend on the number of participants. Those interested should contact Theresa O’Kane - [email protected] directly for details and registration information.
