Music Ministry
Lessons and Carols, 2024
what is the purpose of a choir?A choir functions in many ways both inside and out of the liturgy. Primarily, the choir serves to lead and enliven the congregation's song. By preparing to sing beautiful and challenging music, choirs glorify God and edify the congregations they minister to. Choirs also serve as a small-group within the parish for faith formation, being for the members a place of spiritual growth and nurturing.
The only thing missing is you!Do you sing or play an instrument? We invite persons of all skill levels to join us! The ability to read music is not required to be a member of the choir. For more information, please speak with Mark Wilson after mass or contact us at the information below.
