Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW
Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is a lectionary based children’s program for Pre-School through 1st graders. CLOW is offered at the 8:15 am and 11:00 am Masses the weekend after Labor Day through Memorial Day weekend. The children are dismissed from the Nave after the Opening Prayer, and return to the congregation during the Offertory Hymn to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist with their family.
CLOW enables the youngest of our church community to listen to the Sunday readings be presented and discussed at an age-appropriate level. A variety of engaging activities and teaching techniques are utilized during this faith sharing moment with our youth.
