ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Several Adult Bible Studies are offered throughout the year here at St. Thomas More usually meeting in the fall, spring and summer. 

UPCOMING STUDIES

Matthew, the King and His Kingdom
Matthew wrote primarily for a Jewish Christian
audience, so he quotes the Old Testament frequently, showing how Jesus is the fulfillment of all those promises and is thus
the long-awaited Messiah. On the First Sunday of Advent we will return to Matthew’s gospel at Mass, so this is a perfect time to study it in preparation for what we will be hearing. It is 24 sessions, offered
Tuesdays, September 6-March 28, from 3-5 or 7-9; and Fridays, September 9-March 31, from 1-3. We do take a break from Thanksgiving week through New Year’s.

Registration after Masses will be the weekends of August 7-8 and 13-14. The workbook is $40; please make checks payable
