ALTAR SERVERS
An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during a Christian liturgy. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as fetching and carrying among other things. If young, the server is commonly called an altar boy or altar girl. Judy Ries is in charge of selection, training, and scheduling altar servers here at St. Thomas More. If you have a child that is interested in serving, contact Judy Ries at [email protected].
